Do dee doo.... hmm hmmm hmm....

Not a whole lot going on here, same 'ol same 'ol...... Oh well, unless you count Caleb quiting his job, attempting to finish our home in one weekend amidst packing our lives into boxes, moving halfway across the beautiful state of Utah to Heber City to live with Caleb's gracious parents, Caleb starting a new very intense job in Nano-Technology, Jayne searching for a new home for us, Emmy cutting 2 new teeth, .............. hey I guess our lives aren't so boring afterall! Really, life is excellent. How boring would it be to follow a plan all the time, right? And when Heavenly Father says that it's okay, go ahead and do it, what is there to fear? Heber is really beautiful and if we ever do find a place to live, we will be able to call it home. For now, Caleb's parent's spare bedroom is suiting us just fine. When we find our home I will post some photos and our new address!

Happy Birthday Emmy Jayne Kepsel!!

Mmmmm! Cake at the Kepsel's house on Sunday! Thanks for the great time and the gifts, Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Katie!!
Valentine's day at Grandma Nette's house! Emmy LOVES bling bling, so she got her own purse with sparkly necklaces. She figured out right away how to put them on all by herself and she wore them for the rest of the party.
She loved the singing (that's why she's grinning) but she wasn't too sure on what to do with the cake. She tried it, but wasn't to interested. She went back to her grapes that she'd been working on....
Dig in there kiddo! A new baby doll from Aunt Hanna!
Mmmmm:) Thanks for the Valentine's Day cake, Hanna!
We just can't believe how fast her first year went, and we're so greatful for such great families and friends who share our favorite little goober with us!

We're home from the Caribbean!

Mommy and Emmy on the boat

Daddy was in a game, and won some sweet doo-rags for He and Emmy!

The "Entertainment Crew" all fell in love with Emmy, and by the end of the week they were all best buddies! Emmy was one of two babies on the whole boat, and she behaved perfectly. It seemed like everyone we passed knew her name!

She loves her Aunt Camille! (Also known as Duggy Fresh)

Emmy loved her first experience at the beach. It took her a while to get used to sand between her toes, but she loved the water!

Thanksgiving Adventures

Well this was an eventful year, to say the least! Tuesday before Thanksgiving, and just days before our planned trip to the beautiful Zion National Park, Caleb was in a Fork Lift accident at work and enjoyed (maybe that's not the right word...) a day in the ER. *WARNING* The following photos are not the the soft-stomached.

Our trip to Camp Loll!

This water is freezing, but Emmy didn't mind! This is the lodge that we stayed in. Camp Loll is a boy scout camp, but they are done for the year, so we had it all to ourselves. It was lovely:) Emmy is a camper-baby! This babycarrier backpack saved the day. She loves it! The boys went rappelling on the 90 foot cliff one of the days, those crazy boys. Caleb brought his new .22 as well and they shot over 300 rounds! The boys entertained themselves in the lodge quite easily with just a few pieces of rope! All in all we had a fantastic 4 days. We love being outside and breathing that crisp air, and we're so lucky to have such a good little girl that likes it too!

We are just one happy family, what more can we say? This is Emmy and I after church today in her pretty purple dress. Then us and our friend Megan down in southern utah a few weekends ago, with Emmy sporting her stylish shades! Then last of all, yet another naked emmy picture in the tub! We love those!

The work continues....

It's slowly happening! Caleb is laying down the wood flooring and doing a lovely job at it, while I work on the painting of walls and other random things. Emmy is doing a lovely job of entertaining herself so Mom and Dad can get lots of work done. We're so glad that she's old enough to play alone, but not old enough to get around!! Caleb's parents have been so helpful, spending quite a few weekends down here helping. It's going to be done soon!!!..... someday....

We bought a house!!

Ok it's actually a townhouse. But it's ours!! It's two story's and they're not stacked, so there's no one above or below. We closed last week and we're working away on it now. We have 2 months of living in my parent' s house before they get home from Italy (I can't wait) and so we're doing a lot of sprucing up before we move it. We started the painting today, and Caleb will be installing wood floors in the kitchen, dining room, and entry way. It's a lot of work but a lot of fun at the same time! We're totally thrilled. Can't wait for all you lovely family members to come visit us, hehe!
