We walked into the Library earlier today amid a lovely sunny morning. One hour later, we walked out of the library into a lovely downpour. Luckily we have some cute bags that protected our books, and my kids would think it odd to protect themselves from rain. Which was also lucky.
Emmy went straight for her umbrella as soon as she got in the door, but it was not to protect herself from getting wet.
It's just that when you're outside, and it's raining, an umbrella is the most fun thing to play with.
Although I don't think it was necessarily being an umbrella at this particular moment.
Or at this one.
Then the lightning started up again, so she had to retire to the porch to watch the show. Rather than be the show.
