A good day

We had quite the weekend, let me tell you what.
Grandma Nette was at my house, and that alone is enough to call this day a party! She loves these kids and they love her. Books bring people together:)

It was Emmy's Baptism day. Yay!
She's eight, and after many months of discussions and studying and reading and praying she was ready to get baptized.

Most of the cousins were there to celebrate with us, and to see this special and sacred event. I have photos like this from my baptism, and they are treasures.

 So cute.

My Mother, angel that she is, woke up at 1:00am and got on FaceTime and spent the hour with us from her current home in Russia. It was SO awesome to have her there "with us" and one of those moments when I'm really grateful for technology.

Grandma Nette gave a talk, and so did Lala. The kids helped, which was a hit.

The baptism was beautiful. Caleb and Emmy both did such a good job, and everything was just perfect. I don't even know what else to say! It couldn't have been better.

Then it was FOOD time! Food also brings people together. As it should.

 Love these peoples.

Also these tiny little peoples.

And these two peoples. They're quite the couple, aren't they?

Caleb, rockin' brother that he is, baked a Cherry Pie that morning because it was Levi's birthday that week.
So we threw that little party in with the big party. And it was a great party!

Happy Birthday, Levi! Your fiance is really cute.

And we finished up the day in the same way we began it. That was a good day.
