Class is in session

Sometimes, on warm summer evenings, I have a hard time putting my kids to bed.
Sunday evening was a late night for them. We could not drag ourselves away from watching the lightening storm.
We were outside playing while the storm was rolling over the mountains - which made for some incredible sunset-with-lightening moments.
The kids got their jammies on, then the lightening got closer so we had to go sit on the porch and watch again.
By the time it was really dark outside, the storm was right on top of us. The photo above was taken in the pitch darkness - until the lightening hit of course. It was lighting up the whole sky.
So then the kids brushed their teeth - but we had to go back outside for more. It was just too cool.
We call this homeschool.
Sometimes bedtime needs to wait until class is over.
