A new place

We went to the Museum of Ancient Life at Thanksgiving Point, and I'm so very glad we did!

 We joined up with a few little boy cousins and one sweet JoJo, and had a really great time! If you're interested in dinosaurs, you really need to check this out. They have some cool stuff.

 This giant turtle had me at hello.

 Sea creatures are so weird. They're beautiful and gross at the same time. Kind of like childbirth!

 The hands-on exhibits were stellar. After we finished going through the whole museum we decided to go back in and do this one again:) It was just sand and trickling water, but what more does a kid need?

 We had enough cousins to completely cover the little triceratops!

 Then they spring this one on you! It's right around a corner, just in case it wasn't going to freak you out enough.

 They loved it, because they're strange.

Amelia dug for bones, and liked it! This isn't an alarmed face. Her eyes get wide like this when she's trying to take in lots of new things. Promise. 

Oh, and the people-bones taking down the mammoth-bones! That was cool! The mammoth-bones took out a few people-bones too, so you know, all's fair. 

After our hours at the museum we decided to go to Ikea, mostly because it was nearby and who doesn't love Ikea? We ate, played, purchased, and slurped ice cream. Super fun!

On the way home, after all our hours (and hours) of adventuring, I handed Emmy the camera to keep her busy. 

Millie though that was a hilarious idea.
