We have been/are living in happy chaos around here lately.
I mean... more than we usually are.
Our fabulous wonderful best friends neighbors landlords are finishing our basement!!
WOOT!
So first we had to clear it out. To the garage, living room, and every other room in the house.
This is the beginning of the pack it up, move it out phase.
Caleb's 'wood shop' was the last thing to head out. He's been having a lot of fun in this little corner as of late. Remind me to show you what he made last month.
We had a little 'yeay we got it all out!' party when we were done. There's no where better to ride a little bike than an empty unfinished basement!
The construction began yesterday.
Pete has been very concerned that the noise was going to drive us crazy, but I reassured him that not only are we already crazy so that's not a concern, but that the sounds of saws, drills, boards being dropped, and nailguns are some of my favorite sounds in the world.
I grew up in a construction project. I'm feeling right at home:)

We both got a pair. For old time's sake. Old times as in the 90's.
AND because our good buddies Eric and Nakita are super world class roller bladers, and we're very excited to hit the paved trails with them and our strollers this summer!
